Why line array changes everything on large audiences
A conventional speaker radiates in every direction: the further away you stand, the less you hear, and the front rows take an excessive level. Line array solves this by aligning several modules whose vertical directivity is controlled, sending energy far into the audience rather than at the ceiling or the floor.
The result is a very small level difference between the front and back rows, less unwanted reverberation in difficult rooms, and markedly better speech intelligibility — a decisive point for congresses and official addresses.
Rigging, safety and venue constraints
A flown system requires calculated rigging points and certified lifting equipment. We carry out a technical site visit to validate the venue structure, permissible loads and cable routes. Where flying is impossible, we switch to a ground stack on subwoofers or on structure.
We also handle sound level constraints: some hotels, riads and residential venues impose evening limits. A cardioid configuration and appropriate system tuning keep the impact for the audience while reducing spill to the rear.

Frequently asked questions
From how many people is a line array needed?
Generally above 800 to 1,000 people, or earlier if the audience is very deep. Below that, well-placed active speakers with a few fills do the job perfectly.
Can a line array be installed indoors?
Yes, provided the building structure allows rigging and the ceiling height is sufficient. We confirm this during the technical visit.
Will the sound disturb the neighbourhood in the evening?
We use cardioid configurations and precise tuning to limit rear and upward propagation. If the venue requires a limiter, we build that constraint into the design from the start.
