Frequency coordination, the part nobody sees
Wireless microphones share the radio spectrum with television, professional links and every other system in the building. In a hotel where three rooms run in parallel, sloppy coordination produces dropouts, crackles and stray pickup — sometimes from the room next door.
So we scan the local RF environment before every event, then assign each microphone a free frequency compatible with the others. This operation, invisible to you, is the best protection against the incident that ruins a speech.
Batteries, backup and live management
We always arrive with fresh batteries and a full spare stock, and our operator monitors battery levels during the event to anticipate any change. On important addresses, a backup microphone stays ready at the control position.
We also open and close microphones live, to avoid feedback and conversations picked up without the speakers realising — a detail that protects your speakers as much as your image.

Frequently asked questions
How many wireless microphones can be used at once?
Technically several dozen, provided the frequencies are coordinated. In practice we commonly deploy eight to sixteen simultaneous channels at congresses.
Do lavalier microphones work well with the sound system?
Yes, with correct placement and appropriate processing. A lavalier is more feedback-prone than a headset: we account for that in the tuning and in speaker placement.
Do you provide a lectern for speeches?
Yes, a lectern with gooseneck microphone, reading light and neutral dressing or dressing in your event colours.
