Wedding sound and lighting

A day that plays out in several acts: welcome, ceremony, dinner, dance floor opening, party. Each moment calls for different sound and different light.

Home / Weddings

The setup, moment by moment

One single build, several programmed atmospheres operated live.

Welcome and reception

Background music at conversational level, warm discreet lighting, a microphone ready for announcements.

Ceremony and speeches

Wireless microphones for officiants and family, sound directed at the guests, no distortion during emotional moments.

Dinner

Coloured uplighting on the walls, soft light on the tables, controlled background music that lets guests talk.

Dance floor opening

Mood shift, backlight, low fog and cold sparks for the first dance.

Party

Low-end reinforcement, moving heads, dynamic effects and lighting control synchronised with the DJ.

Moroccan traditions

Amariya, negafa, chaabi orchestra or dakka: we plan microphones and coverage points for every sequence.

Speeches: the most commonly botched moment

This is the moment when everyone is listening, and the one where incidents are most visible: a microphone that cuts out, feedback, a voice too faint, an elderly relative who does not know how to hold a microphone. We always plan two wireless microphones for speeches, with a third in reserve at the desk, and our operator watches the mouth-to-microphone distance of every speaker.

We also fade the music down gradually rather than all at once, to settle the room into silence without breaking the mood.

Hall, riad, garden or beach: three different logics

Indoors, the issue is reverberation and the level limits imposed by the venue. In a riad or patio, coverage must be spread across several small points rather than concentrated, so tables near the speakers are not overwhelmed.

Outdoors โ€” garden, beach, farm โ€” you have to plan power supply, night humidity, wind and often a cut-off time imposed by neighbours. We validate all of this at the technical visit, ideally a month ahead.

  • Sound for ceremony, dinner and party
  • Two wireless microphones plus one backup
  • Twenty to thirty battery uplights

Frequently asked questions

What budget should I plan for a wedding of 300 guests?

It depends on the venue and the level of atmosphere you want. We produce a detailed quote within 24 h after a quick conversation about your venue, date and run of show.

Do you work with our DJ or orchestra?

Yes, very often. We supply the loudspeaker system and monitors, they bring their source equipment. We contact them in advance to align technical requirements.

How late do you stay on site?

Until the end of your party. Derig then follows, or early the next morning depending on venue constraints, with no supplement if it is in the quote.

An event to amplify or to light?

Tell us your venue, your date and your guest count: we send you a costed technical proposal within 24 hours.
