Audio control

Mixing desks and sound control

The console is the brain of your sound system: it is where the balance of voices, the absence of feedback and the transitions of your run of show are decided.

Our control configurations

From a small desk on a table to separate front-of-house and monitor positions.

Compact console

Four to twelve inputs for conferences, receptions and small events. Fast to deploy and operable by a single engineer.

Digital console

Twenty-four to forty-eight inputs, scene recall, built-in processing and wireless control from a tablet.

Front-of-house + monitors

Two separate positions for concerts and large stages: one engineer for the audience, one for the performers.

What a sound engineer actually does

Many organisers assume that once everything is plugged in, it runs by itself. In reality, the essentials happen during the event: a deep voice that distorts, a speaker talking ten centimetres from the microphone, music started too loud after a speech, an incipient feedback that has to be caught before it takes hold.

Our operator anticipates these situations. They memorise settings for each speaker, adjust in real time, manage transitions with the lighting position and remain the technical contact for your master of ceremonies.

Preparation: scenes, patch plan and run of show

Before the event we prepare a patch plan โ€” which source arrives on which input โ€” and stored scenes matching the sequences of your programme: welcome, speeches, video playback, musical entertainment, reception. A single scene recall then reconfigures the whole console.

This preparation requires your detailed run of show. The earlier you send it, the smoother the job on the day.

Frequently asked questions

Can the event audio be recorded?

Yes, we offer stereo or multitrack recording, useful for video capture, institutional archives or the transcription of debates.

Can the DJ connect to your system?

Of course. We supply the connections suited to their equipment and set levels together to protect the loudspeaker system.

Do we need to allow space for the control position?

Yes, ideally in the centre of the room facing the stage, never behind a wall or in a corner. We discuss this at the technical visit.

An event to amplify or to light?

Tell us your venue, your date and your guest count: we send you a costed technical proposal within 24 hours.
