Effect machines and highlights

An entrance on a carpet of fog, a shower of cold sparks during the first dance, an explosion of confetti at midnight: these are the three seconds that end up in every video.

Our available effects

Every effect is controlled from the desk and triggered to the second on your run of show.

Haze and fog

Fine haze to reveal light beams, or dense fog for entrance and stage effects.

Low fog

A low-lying layer that stays at floor level, a cloud effect for a couple's entrance or a first dance.

Cold sparks

Luminous fountains with no flame and no dangerous heat, usable indoors with the usual precautions.

Confetti cannons

Paper or metallic confetti, in single bursts or continuous fall, with clean-up planned at derig.

Bubble machines

A light, festive effect for receptions, family events and outdoor activations.

Bespoke effects

A combination of effects synchronised with sound and light for a product launch or a stage reveal.

Safety before spectacle

Effects are not improvised. Cold sparks, even without flame, require a clear perimeter, distance from drapes and approval from the venue manager. Low fog layers reduce floor visibility and require steps and access routes to be marked.

We systematically refuse conventional pyrotechnics indoors in unequipped venues. Our rule is simple: if an effect cannot be done cleanly, we propose a visual alternative rather than take a risk.

Synchronisation, the key to emotion

A confetti cannon fired two seconds late misses its effect. So we align every effect to a precise cue in the run of show, in direct contact with the sound position and the master of ceremonies, and we rehearse the important sequences before guests arrive.

For emotionally charged moments โ€” the couple's entrance, a product reveal, an award announcement โ€” we always recommend a technical rehearsal, however brief.

Conditions and precautions

  • Prior approval from the venue manager
  • Check of smoke detectors
  • Safety perimeter for cold sparks
  • Marking of access routes when using low fog
  • Triggering from the desk, aligned to the cue
  • Confetti clean-up included at derig

Frequently asked questions

Are cold sparks dangerous?

They produce very little heat and no naked flame, which makes them usable indoors. They still require a clear perimeter and the venue's approval.

Do confetti make a mess of the room?

Clean-up is included in our service. Some venues nevertheless charge a restoration supplement: check this in your venue hire contract.

Can fog be used in a hotel?

Often yes, but only with the establishment's agreement and after checking the detection system. We handle that step with you.
