Safety is not negotiable
A badly built or overloaded structure endangers the audience and the crew. So we systematically calculate loads — fixtures, speakers, screens, dressing, wind effects outdoors — and we specify the structure with headroom, never at the limit.
The build is carried out by trained personnel, with appropriate slings and shackles, ballast or guying outdoors, and a final check before loading. No fixture is rigged without a safety bond.
Stage: height, sightlines and circulation
Stage height is chosen according to the depth of the audience: too low and the back rows see nothing; too high and the connection with the room breaks while the front row has to look up. Between forty and eighty centimetres covers most event configurations.
We also plan access — stairs with handrail, ramp if required —, structure dressing and cable routing to avoid any trip hazard while speakers move around.

Can a structure be built on uneven ground?
Yes, our decks have adjustable feet and we use spreader plates on soft or grassy ground.
Does the build require a permit?
On public land, generally yes. We provide the plans and technical specifications needed for your application to the local authorities.
